Battle Royale dream

A bit of background for you.
Battle Royale is a Japanese novel that has been adapted into a film and a manga. Its premise is horrendous; a group of ninth grade students awake from a "field trip" to find that they are on an abandoned island, wearing collars that will detonate if they try to leave. They are each given a random weapon and told that they have to kill eachother until one person is left. Horrible and frightening, but I think it's a really important novel due to its shock factor. This COULD come true one day. That's why it's so important. And that's why it's so frightening.
I don't remember how the dream started, but I was suddenly in the middle of the final stages of Battle Royale. There were only a few of us left; there was me, Brad, a guy who wanted to "win" and Nancy Linear, a character from my online novel, Adryan Andronicus College for the Gifted. After a gun battle between the evil dude and Brad, Nancy was shot in the pelvis and in the shoulder. By that time, the evil dude somehow turned into a good guy and helped us all out of our collars. He told us how to escape, and said that he was going to act like the winner. Instead of doing so, though, he came along with me and Brad. I put on a wide-brimmed hat and pulled it down to cover my face, and so did Brad and the other guy. For some reason, we weren't on a deserted island, but in a thriving establishment instead. We snuck through the place and started to build a raft in this house (a friend's house, I think) which had an opening to the ocean. A group of my friends from university came by and started loading two or three rafts with stuff like water and provisions for our getaway, and the dude decided he would look at Nancy's wounds and taking out the bullets etc. We had people get things for us and bring them back. I woke up before we could leave, though.
