Invader Zim and a LOT of cheese. . . .
This is the only dream I significantly remember a lot from, so I'm only going to concentrate on it.
Starting off, I'm sitting at my computer and I'm reading messages people have left me on AIM. A lot of them are nonsensical; people are asking me random questions about unimportant stuff. One, however, is a screenshot from a new episode of a new anime turned up in one of the messages, and I got angry because it was a spoiler. I opened up the episode and started to watch, and suddenly I was IN it. I was just a spectator; I wasn't doing anything significant. The news flashed on and it showed a picture of a flaming skull. The announcer exclaimed "It's a scorcher!" to which a subtitle beneath wrote "That's a great translation". The announcer continued to speak and show images of how the earth was suddenly getting hotter and hotter, and that it was by some evil magic dude's design. Then the announcer announced that the reason it was getting so hot was because the evil dude had trapped a whole bunch of cheese in the sky. For some reason, a bunch of children were trapped in the sky also, clinging to big blocks of cheese that floated there. They started reaching out and grabbing the smaller cheeses that were floating about like meteorites and started eating them; I did the same. The cheese looked like orange Swedish Berries. I was eating them as well, and then Invader Zim and GIR appeared. GIR was clinging onto a piece of cheese himself and Zim came over with some cheese he had found floating around. It wasn't, however, cheese. GIR took a big bite out of it and it seemed to be some kind of big, juicy red berry. He threw it up against a massive mushroom that was growing out of a big piece of cheese, and the mushroom's eyes opened! He glared at GIR and said "Don't throw stuff at me, or you'll wake up!". There was a light that flicked on "upstairs" in the mushroom's cap, suggesting that someone lived there. Suddenly, Zim discovered that he could do anything he wanted in this place, which was suddenly a vast desert filled with junk. So, he blew up a train that was chugging through and made it burn down.
Important images: Cheese, flames, train, a mushroom with a face, a juicy berry (possibly blood; in the dream I didn't know which it was), sun, desert.
Analysis of images: Cheese indicates that I will be coming into some sorrow ahead. That doesn't give me much hope :(. Swiss cheese in a dream means that I will come into substantial money, but the cheese in the dream was cheddar. Flames in a dream signify a need for purity or the purification of thoughts and deeds. A train suggests a journey; this train was running off its tracks, and that suggests I might be concerned over an affair that will eventually be resolved satisfactorily. The fact that this train was on fire suggests that I want purification in this particular "journey". Fungus in a dream can either refer to a physical problem I have, or to a situation in my life that's growing out of control. Seeing a face means that I need to better define my goals; seeing the two in combination would mean, to me, that I need to better define my goals on some aspect of my life before the situation grows completely out of hand. The dream definition of cherry (the closest thing to the juicy berry in this instance) suggests sexual and female desire, but I don't think that fits with the dream's current theme, so I will go with blood. A dream of bleeding/blood suggests a loss of power or change in matters of the heart. I will go with the loss of power, as it's fitting in with the current theme here. Dreaming of the sun is apparently fortuitous. A desert signifies a fear of death or being infertile (and I am afraid of death). It can also symbolise hidden beauty and hidden life that is camouflaged by ordinary perceptions.
Interpretation: I will come into sorrow, and it may seem as though my life is spiralling out of control as I lose any power I had, but if I can redefine my goals on the situation, I will be able to rise against this and come into a fortuitous end of it. The solution for the problem is hidden in something ordinary.
